2nd and final weekend of PACKED home filled with unique pieces from around the world! Collection is from UCB scholar on Japan and two generations of his family. Literally boxes & bookcases still of books on art, religion, anthropology, & history for Asia & US. Fab furniture include early farm table, bakers table, early trunks, metal bed frame, antique children's chairs. New items found include gems in specimen boxes, Mid Century blond end tables, antique mangler and large scholars wooden desk. Lamps and artwork (lithos, original art, watercolors) from various eras are featured. Turkish & Persian early textiles, rugs and rug pieces are offered, as are enormous selection of basketry, garden decor, Italian pottery, tile topped dresser and terrific metal early garden lounge chair. Tremendous assortment of women's clothing from 1950's - 1990's with more unearthed from piles, including vintage dresses, vests and accessories, as well as linens from various eras. Quality pieces include collection of vintage buttons, ephemera, LP's, '78's, Fisher and Marantz stereo components, gorilla racks, bookcases, statuary, early cabinetry, vintage children's items, craft and hobby supplies, vintage kitchenware w/china & plate sets, & terracotta pots (many with plants) round out this unique estate! 3 floors to peruse (attic, main floor and basement) with outside garden.
